Our vision
The 2024 509 Swim Clinics are the second season of a long term vision, not only to inspire the next generation, but to teach the vital lessons learnt at the highest level of this sport; to help explain the transfer of these lessons into all walks of life and to spread the love and positivity of the sport we call Swimming.

We strive to provide an experience like no other, to let you and your swimmer in on not only the highs, but the lows too. We create an experience that is an eye opener, and one where your child can walk away ecstatic to get back to training and more importantly, back to racing!

Our Swim Clinics are not only educational for the athlete, but for the parents and carers too. With a full timetable available for the swimmers family, you have the option to drop your kids off and pick them up later, or to stick around for a full day of parent workshops to learn how you can best support your swimmer through the rollercoasters of this crazy sport!

See our Testimonials page to hear the feedback we received from our swim clinics last year!

Matt Richards MBE
Olympic Champion
At 18, Matt became the third youngest Olympic Champion in British history. At the age of 20 he won the World Championships on the 200m freestyle and again on the 4x200m relay too. His experience isn't solely limited to long course, with Matt competing in two seasons of the International Swimming League and becoming European Short Course Champion in 2023.
Philosophy
"I've always been a huge believer in dreaming big. If the goal isn't big enough to scare me, I need to think again. I have a true love and passion for this sport and for helping others experience it the way that I do."

Emily Large
Emily is one of the best 200 fly swimmers in British history and has competed at countless international competitions under a GB cap. She became World and European junior champion at just 16 years old and is a testament to not giving up when the going gets tough. After a narrow miss on Olympic selection in 2024, she has her sights firmly set on Worlds 2025 having finished in the top 10 at the 2023 World Championships in Japan. She is the perfect example of trusting the process and playing the long game.
Philosophy
"Enjoy the journey and believe in the process. Winning takes time and it's never a straight road to success. I hope to share my journey with others and show that we all have a different journey in our pursuit of success."
